Here are some notes from our owners' meeting on the 8th.

We had 21 owners who did not attend or send a proxy, but we had plenty for a quorum. We heard a presentation from our WiFi provider, Kevin Johnson, He will be upgrading our WiFi to get a better service connection for an additional $10 per door per month.
Owners will be assessed an additional $1350 to help offset the cost of the additional foundation work needed. It was voted to pay for pool repairs and bulkhead repairs from our cash reserves. The total cost will be about $34K. Owners voted not to indemnify the owner who wanted the HOA to buy him a new boat because he felt the previous Jerry had damaged his old one. There was no evidence to support this contention.
The stucco on the back of the 200 building will be replaced with hardiplank at a cost of about $10K which will also come out of cash reserves. We will need about $10k to work on the breakwater, but that is divided three ways and that account has the cash to cover that one.
Our owners voted in 2013 to add improvements to our pier. We now have GLO approval, as of Nov. 1st,  to proceed and asked owners how that was to be paid, but there were no motions. Phase II  will be assessing owners to pay their share.
Owners' voted to allow owners to modify the back entrance of their condo in a number of ways. This will include French doors and other options.
All this took six hours to decide.
We were also served a lawsuit on the 6th for costs resulting from damages when former employee, Keith Burr, turned on the power to the Phase II lift station while a repair contractor had his hand in the gears.
