Tropical storm Cindy gave us a close call, but in the end all we had were high tides. Early this morning there was rain in Gulf, but just skirted Rockport.

A few days ago our beach was building back and looking as if we may dodge having to extend our wall right now. However, the current tropical storm will likely bring really high tides along with todays summer solstice.
Below, someone emptied their wheelbarrow of concrete on our grass. For years this would have annoyed me greatly. Not so much now since I have resigned from our board of directors and will be selling our condo very soon. Time to turn the page.

I don't do mornings very well so last Thursday guide, Terry Coufal, took Pack Killingsworth and myself out in the afternoon. We had our limit in no time and kept nothing less than 16 inches. Pack went back out on Sunday afternoon with his son and they also brought back 15 trout too, but theirs were even bigger.
Scott said he bagged 9 nice sized trout last Saturday. Even the pier and crossbridge are yeilding keeper sized trout. About time.
Terry said he has brought back his limit for the last 32 trips. We went into San Antonio Bay for these.

Terry's boat. His sponsor provides a new boat and motor every year.
