Tom Durfee dug this trench for the electrical conduit for the new pier electrical hookup. I can't say when I've seen anyone work as hard as Tom did. He dug this 124 foot trench two feet deep and then filled and raked it level in one day. I know he slept well that night. He said he is an independent contractor and works for $12 per hour.
