Pop retired from weekend duty last evening. He will continue to work weekdays. Pop enjoys working the gate on weekends. For so long we had interlopers who came in to use our pier, pool, and tennis court or just look around. His presence has made a big difference. He said Friday night he had eight vehicles start down our road and notice he was on duty. They stopped to backup and turn around to leave without even trying to tell him a story about why they had no parking permit.
