The wind has been howling for nearly three months with very little reprieve. The wave action, not high tides, have eroded the HEB beach to the point that there is no beach. It's beginning to look like the Cliffs of Dover. I feel badly for those who bring their boats for the weekend and then find the winds too strong to allow much fishing or boating.
The wind was so strong on Friday that it blew in the sliding glass door on a 300 building condo. I remembered that when 205 replaced his doors a couple of weeks ago, Rockport Glass wanted the old doors. The owner called them and got a good price to bring back the used glass and replace the broken one. They came by today and did the job.
