This summer's rains have left us with gargantuan potholes in our entry was and parking area. This one is no less that four feet long and eight inches deep. There are at least 20 very significant holes in the asphalt. The asphalt has no base material under it, only sand.
The tide remains very high for this time of year. Usually we have some low tides after the summer equinox.
The summer miscreants have not taken a holiday. Last Sunday and Monday evening fishing tackle was taken from decks of condos. Paul said he has been told by Richy and Karra to patrol Phase II areas as well as our area. I'm sure they must be having the same kinds of trouble over there too.
Otis and Lisa(604) are packing up. They are moving to a house they purchased in Harbor Oaks. They said they will put their place in the on site rental pool for now.
A warm welcome goes out to our newest owners, Jean and Karen Fankhauser of Boerne. They recently purchased unit 206. They say they do not plan to rent it out. Robbie did a great job of remodeling it and they want to keep it pristine.
Rob and Robbie were busy replacing the front stairs between 209 and 210 on Tuesday. Rob told me that owners should consider updating their units. Those that have been updated are experiencing increased rental activity.
