OK. This time I am showing off. One day after catching the biggest red of my life, I catch the biggest flounder of my life. This one was just over 24 inches long and very heavy. It was an unlucky fish in that the hook was not even in his mouth. It was snagged on his dorsal fin just behind the head. I bought these extra sharp stainless steel hooks and they seem to snag anything that gets close, including me. This flounder hit a perch that was staked out off the back deck. The daily limit for flounder is two this month. Its been a long time since I got half a limit of anything. The Maldonado family from San Antonio helped me with the picture.
